The Block is the highest rated Australian reality television series broadcast on the Nine Network. The series followed five couples as they competed against each other to renovate and style houses/apartments and sell them at auction for the highest price.
At the end of each week the contestants go to The Block set for the judging of their rooms. This year they wanted a little touch of neon and Carla created The 2018 The Block logo in neon
For the Challenge apartment, Norm and Jess wanted a bespoke large scale neon art piece to fit into the nook of their dining room. An often heard comment from them - ‘it’s all good’ in pink LED Neon Flex neon seemed the perfect choice
For the Challenge apartment as the Gatwick Hotel is in the suburb of St Kilda, there was a St Kilda theme to the styling and Courtney and Hans commissioned Carla to create a neon pink postcode 3182 for the kitchen.
